The 13th International Exhibition on Textile Industry (ShanghaiTex 2007) will take place from June 1 - 4, 2007 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai, PR China.

Over 1,400 companies have confirmed to join ShanghaiTex 2007. To match with market needs, dyeing and finishing equipments will be a focus of ShanghaiTex 2007 accounting for 30% of the exhibits. Numerous renowned exhibitors of this sector are going to display their latest technologies and equipments at the show, including Tanatex / Lanxess International, Cognis Santex Group, Fong?s International, Navis Global / Tubetex Global Group, Clariant (China) Ltd., Tung Shing, Thies, Gofront, HongZhou Donglin, O&G, Asia Kingdom, DTC, Cheng Fu, Brazzoli S.P.A., etc.

For example, in wet finishing Kuesters Textile GmbH places special emphasis on the new generation of high performance washing machines providing outstanding washing results with excellent fabric guiding and optimized water consumption. "Gemini" produced by Steiger of Switzerland used the technology of direct feeding of yarns to knitting area, which saves 50% of the energy used. "Inverter Type Pattern Sueding Machine" of Chien Lun features a low working noise. "SR Shrinking Machine" introduced by Zu Shuang Co., Ltd. is highlighted with its water-saving function. DTC will display their new products "LA-828 Dye Machine Controller" at the show, which is powerful in its inbuilt functions and extended flexibility. Besides, Konica Minolta will display their latest textile ink jet printer "NASSENGER-V" which is new to China market, with maximum printing speed reaches 60m2 / hour, which is 6 times faster than those old models.

Since its inauguration in 1984, ShanghaiTex has been held for 12 successful editions. This year, the show is making another milestone, with its exhibition scale reaching 120,000 square meters, compared to 100,000 square meters in the most recent edition in 2005. ShanghaiTex is for sure one of Asia?s most influential textile exhibitions and a professional, authoritative, and forward-looking business event widely recognized by the industry.
