Pre-show Negotation Meeting
In
order to assist exhibitors in understanding business channel and
direction, organizers of ShanghaiTex have arranged a pre-show
negotiation meeting on February 24 – 25 in Shanghai.
Leaders of
the textile departments, bureaus & industry associations from 16
provinces including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, Anhui, Hunan, Sichuan,
Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Henan, Guangdong, Shandong, Guizhou, Shanxi,
Xinjiang, Yunnan & Hubei, together with the representatives of
textile manufacturers & exhibitors, have joined the meeting, to
explore the further development fields and directions under the crisis.
Abstract Report of Major Textile Provinces (Partial)
Representatives of the provinces said, with the effect of
global financial crisis, China textile industry has to speed up their
research & development and brand building. The inferior
products will surely be weeded out from the market, only the quality
products will have foothold in the market. Therefore, demand on
the high level & quality of textile equipments and technologies
would be increased. For example, Fujian province will speed up
the technology enhancement on the equipments, to bring in international
advanced machineries and technologies for chemical fiber, jinlun,
finishing, etc.
Li Shu Qin, chairman of Henan Province Textile
Industry Association, also agreed that they should increase the
investment on advanced equipments. He said that if China wants to
be a 'strong' textile country, she has to raise the standard on textile
equipments, especially on dyeing, printing & finishing which
require further enhancement. Numerous Henan enterprises pay
special attention to ShanghaiTex, at which they hope to bring in the
latest equipments to increase the productivity and production level.
It
was agreed at the meeting that China has the world’s largest textile
industry. Facing the future market uncertainty, China textile
industry has to develop towards innovative technology and bring in
advanced manufacturing technology, in order to increase the
competitiveness & sharpen the edges, to have a breakthrough from
the bottleneck on corporation development.
